Can you help make “seconds” possible this Christmas?

Your kindness helps parents like Monique say “Yes – have seconds”

Even hardworking West Aussies can be pushed past the affordability line. A mortgage or rent rise, medical bills, family upheaval – suddenly food is the first compromise. Monique is a single mum of two who found the courage to rebuild.

Your kindness turns stress into breathing room and meals into moments of joy.

Monique never imagined she’d need Foodbank.

Monique works full-time and plans every dollar. She shops the mark-downs, maps out meals, and does everything she can for her two boys (9½ and 12). But when life turned upside down – escaping family violence, managing a mortgage, school costs and medical bills – there was nothing left for food.

“It’s such a relief to know I can shop at Foodbank – like a big weight lifted off your chest, knowing you have enough food to feed your family.”

Foodbank met Monique where she is: with dignity and practical help. Shelves stocked because of donors like you mean milk for Weet-Bix, eggs for dinner, fresh fruit and veg – and the joy of saying “Yes” when a hungry child asks for seconds.

Every day we help families like Monique’s

For every $1 you donate, we provide 2 meals to West Aussies who need it most. This Christmas, demand is higher than ever. Not long ago, helping 1,000 families in a day seemed impossible – now it happens multiple times a month.

Please give today and help families like Monique’s share a proper Christmas meal.
