Right now, Evelyn* is struggling to feed her two grandchildren, who she is raising with her husband. Evelyn grows veggies at home, and her husband works all the hours he can, but it’s just not enough to keep two growing kids fed.

“It’s very tricky. By the end of the pay fortnight, there isn’t much left. The fridge is bare. Having kids is expensive. To meet this urgent need, we must raise $736,960 by 30 June to make sure 17,546 food packs reach families like Evelyn’s. Foodbank NSW & ACT must now deliver 17,546 essential food packs by the end of June to make sure vulnerable families have essentials like bread and milk this winter.
